Within LA SIRENE: To the extent permitted by law and considering the protection of your rights and freedom in respect of the processing of your Data, and the consent you have given (if any), your Data will only be accessible by a limited and defined number of recipients according to their functions within LA SIRENE.

Within Our Corporate Group, including CHANEL: There may, in some cases, be a limited and defined number of recipients within our corporate group, including CHANEL, who have access to your data. Such Data access will strictly take place on a “need to know” basis for the recipients to fulfil the Processing Purposes in their capacity as data controllers (except for CCTV Purposes which are handled locally).

We may transfer your Data to another legal entity, including within our corporate group for the purposes of a possible joint venture, company reorganisation, change of legal form or any other similar event and/or to provide you with the best possible service.

If you are an existing or prospective client of the companies within our corporate group or otherwise interact with the companies within our corporate group via the Digital Services (except by way of a job application), only the employees within the corporate group that are working within the teams that need to have your information (for example, Customer Relationship Management, Commercial Management, Legal, Compliance, IT, Client Customer Care and Digital Team) will access your Data.

Data transfers within our corporate group will ultimately be covered by our corporate group’s Intragroup Data Transfer Agreement. Any Data transfers outside your jurisdiction that do not provide an adequate level of data protection will be secured through appropriate contractual guarantees which will also be in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Service Providers: Your Data will generally not be disclosed to recipients outside LA SIRENE. In certain cases, however, LA SIRENE uses external service providers acting on behalf of LA SIRENE on the basis of contracts that will include strict obligations in terms of data protection. We will provide your Data to service providers or suppliers as part of our normal business operations, for example to carry out certain IT-related tasks, run our business, serve you or protect the security and integrity of our business. These include the IT maintenance, security and support service provider, hosting provider, payment provider, logistics provider, marketing and advertising partners, data analysis companies, event providers, digital service tool providers, mailing or emailing services.

Other Third Parties: We may, in limited cases, transfer your Data to government agencies and regulators (e.g. tax authorities), courts and government authorities, all in accordance with applicable law, and to external advisors (e.g. lawyers, accountants, auditors, etc.), all acting as data controllers. In this context, LA SIRENE may also transfer your Data to third parties when it receives a request from an authority authorised by law to do so, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Other Digital Partners: There may be digital partners which may process your Data for their own purposes, to the extent permitted by this policy. The processing by these entities is governed by their own privacy policies.

For instance, if you log in to your LA SIRENE accounts on External Platforms via the Site, the External Platforms may (subject to their own legal basis) collect and otherwise process your social media data. The processing by these entities is governed by their own privacy policies.

5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

To ensure the highest standards of services, we may keep your Data for as long as it is necessary for the provision of LA SIRENE services.

Your Data will be kept until your last use or purchase of our services, and in principle for 6 years thereafter, unless the local laws in force require us to keep it for longer or for a shorter period, or if we have a legitimate and legal interest in doing so.

Cookies managed by LA SIRENE are kept for up to 24 hours.

LA SIRENE respects the retention periods imposed by the laws and regulations in force. If your data is no longer required to provide a service or if you no longer wish to be added to our newsletter or events mailing list, your data will be deleted or archived anonymously.

6. WHAT COOKIES DO WE USE AND HOW CAN YOU OBJECT TO THEIR USE?

Cookies are pieces of information that a website or other platform can transfer to your browser, which are then stored on your computer system.

When you use the Site, we, or third parties working with LA SIRENE, send one or more cookies – small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters – to your device. We use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears once you close your browser. With your consent, a persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to our Site. Please note that if you choose not to accept certain cookies, you may not be able to use the full functionality of the services provided via the Site.

We also use third party cookies as part of the services provided via the Site. Cookies set by third parties other than LA SIRENE may be subject to the confidentiality policies of these other companies.

We use cookies and the information collected for the following purposes:

(i) Strictly necessary cookies (always active): These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be deactivated in our systems. They are generally only set in response to actions taken by you that are equivalent to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms.

(ii) Performance cookies: These cookies enable us to count visits and sources of traffic so that we can measure and improve the performance of the Site. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and to see how visitors move around the Site. All the information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous.

(iii) Functional Cookies: These Cookies enable certain website functionality and personalisation, such as recognising your preferences (language, font size, general settings) or your last action. They may be set by us or by service providers whose services we have added to our Site.

(iv) Targeting Cookies: These Cookies may be set by us or our advertising and social media partners. They may be used by us or those partners to build a profile of your interests and display more relevant advertisements on other websites. If you do not allow these Cookies, you will experience less LA SIRENE targeted advertising.

We may also collect your shortened IP address on a non-readable basis, which does not allow us to identify you directly. We will also automatically collect other information about your device, such as model, language and software version.

To object to the installation of cookies, this may provide you with additional information on the cookies used by LA SIRENE as well as specific consent settings if you do not wish LA SIRENE to use all or part of the aforementioned third party cookies.

Please be aware that restricting cookies may have an impact on your user experience and may prevent you from using certain parts of our Site or services.
